This application is not an official Polar product and currently lacks the capability to connect automatically to Polar devices. It serves primarily as a means to manually track progress, allowing users to input data from various sources, including treadmills.
The Polar Heart Rate watch tracker app is designed with simplicity in mind.
I welcome feedback regarding the features you would prioritize, as this will guide my development efforts when time permits.
Users are able to manually enter information from their watch into the app to monitor their sporting activities. Presently, the app supports the following data entries:
- Date
- Start time (when the exercise begins)
- Activity (type of sport)
- Distance
- Duration
- Calories burned
- Average heart rate
- Maximum heart rate
- Temperature (for outdoor workouts)
- Fat burn
- Fitness level
- Notes
The app currently allows users to input data for multiple sports; however, images for activities other than running are not available, and a standard running figure will be displayed instead.
Please note that temperature is recorded simply as a numeric value and does not specify units. It may represent either Celsius or Fahrenheit.
